Easter Holy Land Pilgrimage Experience is only a Click Away

Date

A brand new Holy Land attraction was all set to be unveiled in Jerusalem in time for the Easter holiday but with the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, Jerusalem like cities around the world have ground to a halt. There are no tourists. But that won’t stop the city’s newest attraction from opening and offering the experience free to online visitors. “The Holy City”, an immersive augmented virtual reality production created by the Tower of David in Jerusalem, goes online on April 9 enabling the faithful from around the world to experience not only incredible shots of Jerusalem and all its beauty but close encounters with some of the most significant religious events. Log into the Holy City and witness the centuries old Holy Fire ceremony (the Orthodox Easter celebrations at the Holy Sepulchre); Ramadan prayers at Al Aqsa Mosque, and the priestly blessings for Passover at the Western Wall. The free link will be available from the first day of Passover, April 9 through Easter up until Ramadan, April 24, 2020.
